What makes it different
Competency, not completion
The question is not whether a syllabus was covered. It is what a student can do once a topic has been taught.
Assessed against a published rubric
Every level is weighted across quiz, coding, lab, project and viva. A published rubric is immutable, so revising this term's weights cannot rewrite last term's results.
Support that arrives on its own
Falling short opens targeted practice, peer learning, faculty mentoring and a reassessment automatically. Support that waits on someone remembering to raise it does not arrive.
How a level runs
Taught, then tested
A topic is delivered, then assessed against the level's published rubric - quiz, coding, lab, project and viva, each weighted.
The result is a level, not a mark
A level is cleared, failed, or incomplete. Incomplete means nobody has marked it yet, which is deliberately not the same as scoring zero.
Falling short opens support
A failed level opens targeted practice, peer learning and faculty mentoring automatically, with a reassessment attached.
Evidence, term after term
Every result keeps the rubric version it was scored under, so revising this term's weights can never rewrite last term's outcomes.
Questions, answered
Is this a replacement for the syllabus?
No. The syllabus says what is taught. This says what a student can do once it has been, and the two are not the same claim.
Who can see a student's results?
Only staff whose grants reach that student - their trainers, their head of department, their dean. Access is a written record, so every change is answerable.
What happens when a student fails a level?
Remedial work opens on its own: practice, peer learning, mentoring and a reassessment. Support that waits on somebody remembering to raise it does not arrive.
Do students log in?
No. Students are records here, not users. Everything is entered and reviewed by staff, which is why there is no student portal to sign in to.
Staff access is by invitation
Accounts are issued by an administrator. There is no public sign-up, and no student portal - every record here is entered and reviewed by staff.
